Talk about
honouring one of Mexico’s longest-standing cultural traditions – the tequila!
The Agave Region in Jalisco is a whopping 35,000 ha area dedicated to the
growth of agave plants for the tequila spirit.
The
Teuchitlan cultures shaped the land from 200 to 900 AD, and the region has been
producing spirits since the 16th Century. The agave culture is seen as a part
of Mexican national identity. This is perfect for a tequila-tasting adventure!
